Jonathan B. Hauser
Mr. Hauser joined Front Range Bank as a Director in 2011, bringing many years of real estate and business experience. In 1997, Mr. Hauser formed Drake Real Estate Services, a full-service development, consulting, management, and investment company. Mr. Hauser is also a partner in The Little Pub Company, a multi-unit restaurant company operating in 19 neighborhoods around the Denver metropolitan area. Previously, Mr. Hauser served as Director of Real Estate for Boston Market and Einstein Bagels, and he was a commercial real estate broker for HC Properties. Mr. Hauser received a business degree from Drake University.
Steven C. Leonard
Mr. Leonard was a founding member of FRONT RANGE BANK Investments, the investment company that acquired and recapitalized FRONT RANGE BANK in 2010. Mr. Leonard brings over 14 years of investment expertise from founding Pacifica Capital Investments, an investment advisory firm which he expanded to Colorado in 1989. Prior to creating his investment firm, Mr. Leonard formed Pacifica Holding Company of California, a commercial management and development company, and Leonard & Ohren, a commercial brokerage company, both located in California. Mr. Leonard has served on the board of directors for both public and private companies and associations including Colorado Gaming and Entertainment, BJ's Restaurants, First American State Bank, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (Colorado). He also is the founder of Brokers for Battered Kids, a charitable organization that raises money for at-risk children in the Denver area.
Christopher H. Luce
Director and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Luce joined the bank as a founding member of FRONT RANGE BANK Investments, the holding company that acquired and recapitalized FRONT RANGE BANK in 2010. Mr. Luce worked to cultivate his finance knowledge as an associate at a middle-market private equity firm working on transactions involving various industries such as manufacturing, consumer products, and information technology. Before joining the bank, Mr. Luce founded Luce Capital Management, an investment advisory firm. Mr. Luce earned dual degrees in Economics and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
Scott L. Shwayder
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Shwayder is a founding member of FRONT RANGE BANK Investments, the holding company that acquired and recapitalized FRONT RANGE BANK in December of 2010. Mr. Shwayder is a fourth generation native of Denver and brings more than 25 years of real estate and business experience to FRONT RANGE BANK. Mr. Shwayder currently serves as co-owner and Principal of Unique Properties, LLC one of Denver’s largest locally owned and managed commercial real estate brokerages; as well as co-owner and Principal of Unique Management Solutions, a full service property management firm. In addition Mr. Shwayder is a Principal in Bellaire Funding, LLC, a private lending source and SCR Capital Investments LLC which specializes in the acquisition and management of non-performing residential loan pools. Prior to his involvement with FRONT RANGE BANK Mr. Shwayder spent 12 years serving on First American State Bank’s Board of Directors.
Brian M. Soeldner
Director and President
Mr. Soeldner joined the bank in May 2007, and was a founding member of FRONT RANGE BANK Investments, the holding company that acquired and recapitalized FRONT RANGE BANK in 2010. Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Soeldner was a partner with Merit Capital Partners from 2001 until 2007, a private equity fund that provides mezzanine debt and equity capital to middle market businesses. He was also an Assistant Vice President in the middle market banking group at Bank of America, where he provided asset-based and cash flow loans to middle market companies. Mr. Soeldner earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA in Finance and Management Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Robert J. Walcott
Mr. Walcott is the founder and principal of Green Mountain Properties, LLC a commercial real estate investment firm, specializing in multi-family properties in Denver, San Diego, Las Vegas and Hawaii since 1990. Prior to launching Green Mountain, Mr. Walcott served as Regional Director of Acquisitions and Finance for Newport Beach based Clayton, Williams & Sherwood, Inc., at the time the largest owner of mobile home communities in the nation, and as Acquisitions Director of a private multi-family investment firm in San Francisco. From 1978 to1983 Mr. Walcott served on active duty in the U.S. Army, including tours in the 82nd Airborne Division and overseas as an advisor to the Greek Army. From 1983 Mr. Walcott continued to serve in the Army Reserve, with duty stations in the Oklahoma, Massachusetts and Germany, retiring in 2008 as a Colonel. Mr. Walcott has served on several boards of directors and associations, including the West Point Society of Denver of which he is Vice President, the Denver University Club’s Committees on Admissions and Entertainment, and as Governor of the Colorado Society Order of Founders & Patriots of America. Mr. Walcott also served as Director of the de novo version of FRONT RANGE BANK, from 2001 until its sale in 2007. Mr. Walcott is a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
